Is the AI-Framework a low code solution?

No, the AI-Framework is not a low code solution.

Low code

Low code is a visual development approach to software development. The low code approach enables developers of varied experience levels to create applications for web and mobile using drag-and-drop. This way components and model driven logic can be built through a graphic user interface.

Generating code

The AI-Framework generates code (C#, HTML5, JavaScript – depending on what is needed). It does that as a result of a developer specifying functional behaviour in a very structured manner. The AI-Framework will then use this structured functional specifications to generate all the software.

The differences

The difference between low code solutions and the AI-Framework are fundamental.

  • The result of code generation of the AI-Framework is 100% code. That means it is not low code at all.
  • The AI-Framework is not instructed with drag and drop, but by a very detailed description of functionality.
  • For the developing of software with the AI-Framework, developers of higher experience levels are recommended.
